Former US Attorney Joe diGenova told Fox News host Laura Ingraham Tuesday evening that if Mueller issues Trump a subpoena we are headed to a Constitutional crisis.

As reported earlier, Mueller warned he may subpoena President Trump.
The Washington Post reported earlier Tuesday Mueller raised the prospect of presidential subpoena in a recent meeting with Trump’s legal team.
In a tense meeting in early March with the special counsel, President Trump’s lawyers insisted he had no obligation to talk with federal investigators probing Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential campaign.
But special counsel Robert S. Mueller III responded that he had another option if Trump declined: He could issue a subpoena for the president to appear before a grand jury, according to four people familiar with the encounter.
Mueller’s warning — the first time he is known to have mentioned a possible subpoena to Trump’s legal team — spurred a sharp retort from John Dowd, then the president’s lead lawyer.
Mueller is out of control.

Mueller might want to think about issuing a subpoena. The Supreme Court just might rule that he has greatly exceeded the scope of his investigation.
Mueller is leading a DEEP STATE COUP ATTEMPT.

Wait, what?!?! We are headed to court (as Dershowitz has been saying) where Mueller can explain why the exercise of Constitutional powers bynthe Oresodemt is somehow probable cause of a crime. He will also have to explain why this investigation was launched in the first place. The last thing Mueller wants to do is issue a subpoena because that will force him to take this all the way to the Supreme Court.
That is the way our system works.
He might not like his legacy being one of causing a Crisis and starting a civil war.

I am sure the judges that halted Trump’s orders on Travel bans, DACA and Trans in military would be impartial if it reached any of their courts.

There is no Constitutional provision for a “Special Prosecutor.”
