Freemont. Here in Louisville, our freemont is “The Highlands.”

I confess that I actually miss Seattle. But the Seattle I miss ceased to exist decades ago.

Looks like someone painted “blood on his hands.”

Notice how the liberal cesspools are now uninhabitable? (LA,SF, Seattle, Portland among others on the West Coast) Where do we think the people, who can, are going to escape to? Who fills the void of people who leave? We know the answer. The cycle is turning many parts of the country into third world status.

Self-proclaimed 'Center of the Universe'.

I thought that was NYC's claim.

“...someone painted Lenin’s left hand with red paint - to symbolize blood on his hands.”

The counterrevolutionary imperialist pig who did that needs to be arrested and liquidated!!

;^)

Yes, it completes the historical accuracy of that abomination of a statue.

Same here. The last time I was there was in 2011. Still loved parts of the city but could see it was just going to get worse. Made me sad. We had discussed moving there at one point but not now. And, nowhere in Western Washington seems like it would work. :(

I think all liberal shitholes like to think the world revolves around them so therefore they must be the center of the universe.

I have always assumed that Freemont picked up that statue as a form of black humor and to keep the area weird. There is a movement out of the Highlands here in Louisville that actually calls itself, “Keep Louisville Weird”.

If you could convert Seattle back to forests, it would be a pretty nice place.

I think Seattle is a San Fran wannabe.

I read an article back around 1990 by a writer in one of the San Francisco papers that was about Seattle. She said she lamented about how awful San Francisco had gotten, but if you came to Seattle it was very much like the “old” San Francisco.

I remember, at the time, thinking, “So, San Francisco is Seattle in the future?”

I had no idea just how right I was.

Thanks for the pix. Looks like Arlington VA where I work. Completely sterile and unlivable. There are a few people who live here who look like concubines for the weathly foreigners who dump their dollars in the overpriced real estate. The other input is of course the billions of taxpayer dollars going to contractors and government drones. Most people would be considered well-off outside of the coasts, but are scraping by here.

In general in Texas, it’s against the law to walk against the flow of traffic[along the shoulder]. I have always thought that was safer, you get to see the vehicles. But, you have to walk with the flow. So you can’t see the drunk driver coming from beind. Seems like it was designed by non walkers.

A little over a month ago I was offered an engineering job that would be in downtown Seattle. I turned it down, told the CEO that I was not a fit for the Seattle culture.

Leftisim is what fills the void when God is rejected. In leftisim YOU are the god. The Curse that God has put on such people is that they, like He, are NEVER WRONG. Ever. No matter what goes bad, no matter what fails, no matter, even, how many die.

I know a gay woman who turned-down a job in San Francisco because the place was disgustingly filthy. The homeless guy who took a dump just outside her hotel window was the clincher.

No one will understand leftism until they see that it is a DELIBERATE effort to destroy society. It is nihilism, and Kshama Sawant is a nihilist.
