We have a few members in my service club in NE Florida who have wondered down the coast. In a few years they have convinced the club to change one fundraiser, a trap shooting event, to a benefit concert. The loss of money was not insubstantial as the trap event raised a lot of money. The concert, not so much. In private conversations one always gets the “we did not do it like this back home”. I always ask, if this is not now home for you what is it?? They fail to see the point.

Kasich is lying about balanced budgets. By law, states MUST have balanced budgets. The states don’t have a Defense Department to protect the country; does he propose disarming completely? They don’t have a State Department; does he want to stop all foreign aid? They don’t pay out SS; does he propose killing off seniors?

So John, don’t lecture us on how great a job you’re doing until you walk a mile in big boys boots.
