It's not about the kids. It's about a money grab now that federal income taxes have been cut. The best demands to help students would be strong discipline, fairly applied and an end to the waste of time and money on testing. They'd be demanding that the feds get out of education as a first step.

It's a power grab by the NEA.

Adding more fuel to the fire is the school board’s decision in 2013 to end the practice of using taxpayer monies to fund the local and national teachers union.
