Germany has the biggest corruption scandal regarding Russian gas. They are just so embarrassed about it that they prefer not to talk about it so people might not have heard.

Their Chancellor Gerhard Schröder closed down their nuclear power stations and killed the Nabucco gas pipeline in favor of the Russian Nord Stream. Right after losing his re-election he was given a board position in a Russia’s Gazprom subsidiary, where he earns the big bucks without really having to do much.

Sounds like Putin has Germany over a barrel pipeline. No wonder they were so quiet on Syria. Almost as stupid as that Muslim invasion they allowed.
