A Salinas man has been sentenced to 9 years in prison for a hit-and-run that left the victim paralyzed from the neck down.
41-year-old Horacio Alcantar was driving a black Chevy Silverado back in July of 2016 on San Juan Grade Road when he crashed into a silver Chevy Malibu head-on.

I’ve heard this before about the conductor on the train that crashed near Seattle...can you point me to any articles about it?
