Self cefense? No way!

Why not?

And it's not that I disagree with you, it's that self-defense as applied to civilians doesn't enter into police shootings. Cops walk away every day for shootings that a civilian would get charged for.

The Blue Wall is closing around Noor and, as you said, the victim is dead so only one version will be heard.

...

I thought there were prosecutors in this case like every other case.

And whose side to the prosecutors tend to be on in these cases? The police.

Dark night. Responding to a call about a possible armed prowler. Loud noise and appearing out of nowhere. Officer thought is life or the life of his partner was threatened so he shot. Tragic situation but justified shooting. Happens all the time.

...

Agreed, but I’d say only one cop in a million would have fired his weapon.

This officer was way too jumpy and scared.

I disagree. Our judicial system is adversarial.

I agree on that as well.

This officer was way too jumpy and scared.

I would say that in the overwhelming majority of these cases where the police shoot and kill an unarmed person, the police officer in question probably should not have been a police officer at all. The vast majority of police would not have panicked and reacted in that same manner.

I disagree. Our judicial system is adversarial.

It's also comprised of human beings. Prosecutors rely on the police to make their cases. They need them, so they're going to lean towards protecting them in court. It's human nature.

We have these roaches in Atlrnta. They are the duck of the esrth. We had a Somali refugee family down the street with two teenage sons. OMG! Constant trouble I could write a book.I

One day they saw Mr. GG2 leave in the car. I was still in the driveway and they made a beeline toward me. I ducked in the house and locked the door. They were on the front porch knocking on the door. The dog was frothing at the mouth at the front window. I was just slipping down the hall to grab my gun when they gave it up and left. Found out later one of them had been deported for statutory rape but slipped back in. The other one was carrying a gun around discharging it to intimidate people. He was also dealing drugs. It was a mess with all of us calling the cops on them every other day. They must have finally gotten reported because several months ago they left.

Muslims have no redeeming value. They contribute nothing but misery wherever they go. We have to stop letting them in and start reporting them.

...

Prosecutors rely mainly on forensic evidence and witness testimony. They are judged on their conviction rates.

But, yeah, if even one Somali is on the jury, then he’s home free.

...

Lately, I’ve noticed some accused officers are choosing bench trials and being exonerated.

A jury is supposed to made up of the accused's "peers". He could have 12 "peers" on his jury.

In Miami, my jury would consist of maybe half knowing the English language used during trial. Sometimes, the word "reasonable" isn't understood by the lawyers uttering the word.
