I thought he was a good guy too early on, and then slowly I began to see him differently.

That Malibu Canyon story was funny. So was the term. LOL

We’re on the same page.

We’re talking about a guy who didn’t care if Hillary Clinton was elected president, and you’re so upset you start attacking others.

LOL

Last I checked, Ted Cruz has had a 100% conservative rating every year he has been in office. Personally I supported Ted, then Trump when he won the nomination. I am extremely surprised and giddy Trump is doing things even Reagan failed at.

I think it was downright moronic to do what he did at the Convention, but we all stumble on our dick from time to time.

From what I have seen, since Trump took the Oath, Cruz has been Trump’s biggest supporter. Other than the spending bill, which even you called stupid, Cruz has been behind Trump more than any member of the Senate.

I think Cruz has earned the forgiveness you refuse to give him.

My take, Cruz will win re-election by well over 10%. Another wards, in a landslide.

I believe Ted will win re-election also. Looking at the primary numbers from both parties, it seems the Democrat would have to come up short.

I may have made a flippant remark about the $1 trillion dollar spending bill, but then I came to a different conclusion. We have been spending about $3.65 trillion per year. This spending bill authorized $1 trillion dollars to run the government from March until October. That is seven months. If Trump can somehow keep spending down to $1 trillion for seven months, that sure beats the $3.65 trillion per year rate. I’m not as sold on the bill being a bad one after thinking about it that way.

Ted said he had always been a strict border control type of guy. Then I uncovered his advice to candidate GW Bush. In it he advocated not clamping down on the border and referencing parents and children when talking about the need to go slow. Just when I was hoping we would finally clamp down, Ted was advising Bush to take it easy. I don’t consider that Conservative. (I’m reciting this from memory, and I can’t remember the exact things said, but this was my take-away impression.)

I don’t consider it a Conservative move to support
increasing the H1-B visas by 400%.

I didn’t consider it a Conservative move when he voted for the Corker bill.

I didn’t consider it a Conservative move when he voted for TPA, a bill that had to pass so the TPP could remain viable.

His indifference to Hillary Clinton being elected president or not, said a lot to me. I don’t know of a single true conservative that could stand around and watch her come within a whisker and only spend 2.5 hours during 100 days to prevent it.

Those Conservative ratings leave me scratching my head at times. I know John McCain used to pull some pretty decent numbers too.

Not going to go back and forth with you, because you know I could.

As you know I seldom step into the fray, but said my piece.

I’ll leave it at that

I don’t know that you could, and your response infers you’re giving me some sort of a break. I dismiss that for the pantload it was.

You said your piece and I think I responded with facts that can’t be refuted. This is the respectful way you respond?

For the past few years, I have been amazed at the ability of Cruz supporters to dismiss anything that is negative, factual, and on the record, as if the person reporting them had to be the bad person for merely explaining what is on the record.

No, Ted Cruz is his own worst enemy. He alienated me over time. I did not start out disliking him. As soon as I picked Trump over him, I advocated him to be the V. P. pick, serve in that role, become president, and then serve on the Supreme Court.

By election day he had so alienated me that I don’t want him anywhere near government, at all.

All of us here lack the authority to define a Natural Born Citizen. But there are facts, not opinions, that must be disclosed.

Ted and those whom support him are perfectly fine with these FACTS:

1. Ted was born outside the USA and reared there through childhood.

2. Ted is the son of a Cuban born Canadian citizen.

3. Ted is the son of a Canadian -ex-pat American mother.

4. Ted rescinded his Canadian citizenship in 2015

Those are facts. How and when Ted acquired American citizenship has not been revealed.

Likewise, the rest of the post was factual. Ted lost the Bible Belt and many other states and then conspired to steal Trump’s delegates.

He is to be distrusted. Never allow him to walk behind you.

Cruz’s father is the owner/pastor of a Seven Mountain Dominion (cult) church. Look it up. There is nothing Biblical about their teachings.

Remember that Cruz was “King Josiah,” one of seven “Kings” who would rule over the earth for eternity.

As a Christian, we were told by Jesus that we would know fellow Christians “by their fruits.” His election behavior was the antithesis of Christianity.

I went up thread and read some of your comments.

Yes, that’s pretty much what happened. I’d forgotten the extent he went to, to try and bleed off delegates from Trump prior to the convention.

It was said Ted has such great knowledge of the rules, that he’d make Trump look silly at the convention. I guess the idea was that he could manipulate things so Trump wouldn’t have a chance.

The only guy coming away from that convention looking like a fool was Ted Cruz.

The other 17 candidates may not have been happy, but they comported themselves pretty well.

I’ll say this, if Ted Cruz wanted to address the convention, I would have said, “Okay Ted, we want you to have your say, but at the end of it, you need to endorse.”

Otherwise I’d have sent him packing.

The Trump folks treated him decent and he thumbed his nose at Trump.

Cruz is a looser with a capital “L”.

It’s good that Cruz is on board.

I hope his support continues.

Right. Take a look at the sleazy Ted Cruz team in Georgia:

Excerpts from Breitbart News.by Patrick Howley -4/17/2016

The Donald Trump campaign is accusing the Ted Cruz campaign of staging a coordinated “attack” in Georgia that led to pro-Trump delegate candidates being challenged and deposed in every corner of the state, which Trump had won resoundingly in the primary.

“Private backroom nominations committees producing ‘recommended’ slates, county delegations voting in blocs, floor motions made targeting our supporters,” Trump national delegate director Brian Jack claimed, in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News. “This is the machine politics we read about in school, not the grassroots activism our campaign encourages.”

Trump supporters walked out of the district convention in Buford Saturday after a Cruz-Marco Rubio alliance bumped all of the potential Trump delegates off that district’s slate. But the chaos in Buford happened everywhere at Saturday’s district conventions, with CRUZ SUPPORTERS ISOLATING AND TARGETING PRO-TRUMP DELEGATE CANDIDATES IN ORDER TO REVERSE GEORGIA’S VOTES ON A POTENTIAL SECOND BALLOT AT THE Republican National Convention in Cleveland in July.

“Within an hour I knew this had happened all over the state of Georgia,” Thomas Deen, senior data analyst for the Trump campaign in Georgia, told Breitbart News. “I am aware of instances in all fourteen of our congressional district

“I was speaking to someone in our third district and he said that they actually re-did the committee and replaced the committee with Cruz members and then passed motions to replace the Trump delegates with Cruz delegates,” Deen said.

“This is not an isolated incident. I spoke to Jeanie Seaver, the grassroots coordinator [on the Trump campaign]. She was kicked off being a delegate and replaced with an 18-year old kid right out of high school because he was a Cruz supporter and there was nothing she could do because the committee was just banging their gavels” shutting down dissent, Deen said.

“This was an attack. We’re not going to take it lying down.”

Breitbart News has obtained an email that Ted Cruz sent out to his supporters on the eve of the district conventions telling them to talk to the “Cruz team” at their respective convention sites to figure out their strategy for voting for Cruz delegates.

Our campaign was honored to have the support over 300,000 Georgians in the Georgia Primary on March 1st. If you supported our campaign, we humbly thank you. If you supported another candidate, I invite you to unite behind our campaign because we are the only campaign that can defeat Hillary Clinton and reignite the promise of America.
~snip~
I urge you to vote for Cruz supporters at the district convention who will be strong voices for Georgia at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland. Please see our Cruz team at the convention for more information.

For liberty,

Ted Cruz

Disappointed would-be Trump delegate Diane Putnam, 68, has worked in the Republican Party in Georgia since the 1970’s. Still active in her local party, she campaigned for Reagan in the ’80s, was an advance woman for George Bush’s trip to Dalton, Georgia in 1992, and helped to elect former Governor Sonny Perdue. But her Trump support cost her a trip to the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland, even though she comes from a district where Trump beat Cruz two-to-one in bound delegates on the first ballot. ~snip~

“Once again, the Cruz campaign showed that they prefer the decision of who is the Republican Nominee be placed with Republican Party insiders, instead of the millions of voters that go to the polls and vote in the Republican Primary,” pro-Trump delegate nominee Debbie Dooley, who was deposed Saturday, told Breitbart News.

“They demonstrated they are more than willing to overturn elections in order to elect Ted Cruz president. In Georgia, the Cruz campaign systematically worked to disenfranchise the 502,000 Georgians that cast their vote for Donald Trump on March 1st.”

“How can they override the hundreds of thousands of Georgia voters? It was … outlandish and asinine,” Thomas Deen of Trump’s Georgia campaign said. “That whole scenario was played out in all of our districts.”

“It was all pre-scripted, choreographed,” Deen said, referring specifically to Cruz people overthrowing committee members. “It doesn’t happen that fast, that’s a process that could take a whole entire day, with all the rules and ceremony. They just flew through it. It showed so clearly how the Cruz supporters were working with the established GOP committees. They put so much effort into it to make sure that this happened.”

“It left a very bad taste in my mouth,” Deen said. “I was livid.”

Cruz systematically sought to overturn the results of multiple state republican primary elections.

Cruz orchestrated a sick amount of cheating and disenfranchisement in order to prevail in several caucus states.

On his own accord and popularity, Cruz was capable of carrying Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and a handful of low-delegate prairie states.

Remember Colorado? Trump was polling far ahead of everyone else and ‘Team Cruz’ literally shut down the caucus process to all but Cruz supporters.

That was a pretty amazing post.

I don’t know how anyone could read it and still come away a Cruz supporter.

Some folks are refusing to be honest with themselves.

A great purely factual recording of the primary election events for 2016 and historically can be found here:

http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P16/

In order of primary election events:

Trump won-

New Hampshire- South Carolina - Alabama -Arkansas - Georgia - Massachusetts -

(Cruz wins Oklahoma and Texas)

Trump won - Tennessee - Vermont - Virginia - Louisiana

(Rubio wins Puerto Rico & DC) and (Cruz wins Idaho)

Trump won Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Illinois, North Carolina, & Florida

(Kasich wins Ohio) and (Cruz wins Wisconsin)

Trump won New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Indiana.

(Note: The caucus events are shameful game -playing, cheating, party controlled events designed to disenfranchise the bulk of the voters and exclude all but the handlers.- Ted excels there!)

Trump repeats The Enquirers espose’ regarding Daddy Cruz’s involvement with Oswald and JFK and Cruz is DONE.

YEP, Ted quits after sucking 10 million dollars in his campaign coffers over the previous 6 days and a rock solid plan to steal most of TRumps delegates all the way to the convention floor. hmmm.

Time to thank the Enquirer or we’d all be the weepy ones after Ted had his ass handed to him by The Clinton Cabal.

I kid you, not...

Never forget-—Team Cruz was actively seeking to overturn the Florida election results and several other key states with rogue delegates and late brand new rules changes to the primary process. They were conspiring in late April at the delegate convention in FL. It was very much out in the open at the delegate event. That’s why Manafort had to be summoned ->to stop the bleed.

Cruz was beat quite soundly and quite frequently by President Trump. He had no business prolonging his miserable illegitimate candidacy based upon thievery and disenfranchising millions of republican voters,

If he ever could have risen in popularity over Hillary, she would have sought to have him DQ’d as ineligible based on NBC requirements.
