Her mother’s family name was Edelstein, which her Mom changed to Stevens. Her family name was Hershlag, which she changed to Portman. So yeah, guess so.
Oh, and to top it all off, since childhood she has studied French, Japanese, German and Arabic ... so even before going to Harvard she was trained in the language of anti-semitism.

I find her very attractive. (it’s all “hair & makeup” anyway).
Like ALL the others, I wish they would keep their politics to themselves. Shut up and sing, act, write, or play.

They’ve set the bar pretty low for best then ... every time I see her in a movie, she plays someone half dead inside. Low emotion, low energy. Not once have I ever sympathized or liked any character she portrayed. I did hear she was good in “Black Swan”, but a lot of people claim that Mila “you can take the girl out of the Soviet Union, but can’t take the Soviet Union out of the girl” Kunis made that movie.
To each their own though, and I mean no disrespect if you like her :-). I think there are a million better actresses out there, but we are all different. Obviously, a lot more people feel the way you feel than I feel about her (you probably don’t want me going on a tirade about Gwyneth Paltrow, Scarlett Johanssen, or Jennifer Lawrence too ... three additional anti-talents with Jennifer Lawrence being the biggest disappointment of those three).
