I did not order A Higher Loyalty, but it arrived in the mail today, with a gift receipt. On my orders page, it is listed as having been charged to my Visa card, along with the purchase price reflected as having been refunded.
Be aware that this is a scheme by the publisher or some other party to boost the volume of “sales” by having this book ordered as a gift using your card on file, and simultaneously refunded.”

Suspect that not long ago Comey reached a critical juncture in his life. Imagine the scene when Loretta Lynch called him into her office. She outlined Obama’s concerns that the Hillary investigation would end in an indictment and that Trump would be elected. Moreover he was concerned that Trump may be elected on his own and that “measures” were being taken to ensure his defeat. Comey’s cooperation would be necessary to effectuate Obama’s wishes. At that moment Comey had a fundamental life altering choice. He could have answered “Madam Attorney General, reassure the President that I will enforce the law.” Lynch wold have told a disappointed Obama that Comey would not play. No doubt some derogatory articles by Obama sycophant “journalists” would appear but Obama would never had the courage to fire him.Of course Comey did not stand firm and instead agreed to do his part in the anti Trump , pro Clinton plot. Suspect since then Comey has been a tortured soul regretting his actions, his lost honor and the harm he has done to the FBI. Suspect it was his conscience that resulted in his famous press coference just before the election. The only way for Comey to absolve himself and to repair the grave damage he did to the FBI is to come clean and tell the whole, unadulterated story. Won’t happen but it would be nice for him and the country if it did.
This doesn’t mean how many were SOLD, merely how many were ordered by book stores. You can get a feel for whether they were sold or not by the fact that they went straight to the discount bins.
