“Good riddance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Actually when you think about it, you don’t want this. A Democratic-run economy would be disastrous and in no time the country would be insolvent and on its knees. Guess who would kindly step in with the money to bail California out? China. For a price. How would you like a Chinese naval base in San Diego?

That is a very good point. I hear there's a nice one already there waiting for them. Also, the Chinese would not be so worried about being "politically correct." If the snowflakes think Republicans are bad, wait until they meet their Chinese masters.

Also, the geopolitical ramifications of this are enormous. A Chinese naval base in California, and the loss of our own infrastructure there, basically cedes them the Pacific. It becomes a Chinese lake.

Finally, the Chinese would also be paying for virtually unlimited access to Silicon Valley. More than the naval base, that's the top of their shopping list. California would have to sell it to them.

In California, Oregon, Washington and most “blue” states a single urban area often creates a larger margin of victory for the Democrat than they won the state by at large. This was true for Hillary in 2016, and Obama in 2008 and 2012. This is truly governing and “taxation without representation”.

The #RustyIrony of “Calexit” is the Lefties desire to secede from the U.S.A. could “start the engine” of “red” counties then seceding from California... and maybe those of Oregon and maybe even Washington following. There are enough “red” counties in each of those states to form a contiguous state border for the long proposed state of Jefferson.

Easy fix - we’ve still got those deteriorating nuclear weapons. Make Commiefornia a testing range for our biggest baddest nukes. “Hey, Joe, what’s that strange glow in the western sky?” “Oh, that’s just Commiefornia melting.”

That is poppycock.

Haha, utter nonsense, if you think the US would allow a communist country to set foot in America during a war.

The Calexit would never include San Diego. They would get a sliver along the coast between Los Angeles and San Francisco.
