Nonetheless, real Americans continue to ignore racial and ethnic barriers, no matter what the politically correct classes instruct them. The results can be almost comic, on occasion, such as this from The Sentinel:
On May 11, the male golf team of Lincoln University, an historically black college in Jefferson City, will compete in this year's PGA Minority Collegiate Golf Championship. The tournament begins May 11 in Port Lucie, Florida.
The goal of the tournament founders was "to provide a national stage for players from minority colleges and universities to compete in NCAA collegiate golf events." That said, not all of the golfers at Lincoln are black. Truth be told, none of them are.
The white golf team members decided to attend Lincoln University, which was founded in the days when African Americans were excluded from most colleges, and therefore needed their own institutions. Those days are over, and integration is triumphing.

In a historically black college, whites are a minority. No harm, no foul.
Hey as long as they self identify as black who are we to say any different!
I am sure that if they do win it will be chalked up as winning because of “White Privilege” and “White Privilege” only. The winning will have nothing to do with skill or talent.
Meanwhile, women’s sports is slowly being dominated by men who can outcompete the females.
It wold be just as much fun to see a swimming tournament for teams from historically black colleges.
The white players can rectify this anomaly by declaring that they feel black.
They should all wear afro’s and if that doesn’t work weave in some dreads....
They could play in blackface if it would make people feel better.
Maybe they could arrange for some black caddies to balance things out a bit.
And a white woman can self identify as a Cherokee.
And grown men can self identify as girls.
And a half-black muslim can self identify as a Christian.
Can a white golfer self identify as a minority golfer?

I give it less than 5 years before we see this same scenario played out on a woman’s golf team made up of 100% born males.
The East Germans were ahead of their time.
And whites can get minority presence scholarships at HBCU too.
