Starbucks has jumped the shark, and now - with this phony “diversity training” - they’re screwing the pooch.

They won’t be able to function after this, they are TOAST.

Every black with a chip on their shoulder will be showing up to “loiter” at Starbucks, just to dare them to react. They’ll demand “reparation coffee”, and bow-at-the-waist service.

All whites who work for SB - at least those with some scruples - should immediately walk out and seek other employment.

There’s no sense in the whites being punished because of a couple of black interlopers and rabble rousers.

Start having a little courage, and pride, in who you are and stop bending in shame because you are white...it’s ridiculous.

And many people believe it was staged. The guy showing up supposedly to discuss real estate with these two? Right... Is that why the cell phones were recording. I have heard, but can’t substantiate, that the real estate guy has ties to the firm that is providing the racial bias training.

After 12 years as a "Gold Card" Member of Starbucks, two days ago I zeroed out the card and had my last beverage ever.

This is funny on another level, because Starbucks prides itself as a company, for support of liberal causes.

I feel compelled to correct that egregious error of adult judgement.

I think a side effect of the Starbucks incident was the recent shuttering of a Berkeley, CA coffeehouse/soda fountain (not a Starbucks) based on a 2015 incident that was resurrected in the public consciousness.

So now what? It’s predictable that Starbucks will become a target for loitering.
They will.not be able to do anything about loitering, even if homeless folks decide to camp out.

The fatal irony is that my (now) ex local Starbucks already had loitering OUTSIDE. I could help or ignore them; my choice.

Homeless would come in all the time; they were polite, didn't smell the place up and it never bothered me one iota, ever. All they ever asked for was water.

Outside, I once had professional (young druggy) semi-homeless, ask me if she could borrow my cell phone to call a taxi. I agreed to help but when she "dialed" and began talking it was obvious she was NOT talking to a taxi company, I asked for my phone back, said "sorry" and went on my way, end of forgotten story.

I would not have enjoyed the experience inside the store, specially with a loud "entitled" thug.

My very white gf was asked to leave when her WiFi at home was down and she needed to get some resumes out; of course she apologized and immediately left when asked. Point is, even in suburban areas this is not uncommon, most people simply don’t try to push it— how hard is it to either buy something or leave rather than be confrontational?

I find that hard to believe. Our local Starbucks was like a family and a regular customer would never be asked to leave.
It is located at a busy freeway exit and daily there was at lest one travelling salesperson inside taking care of business and having a beverage. Also tourists, but they always bought something to drink, even when "waiting" for someone.

Starbucks management effed up royally, shot themselves big time, no only both feet, but their cowardly hypocritical mouths.

Being a charter member of the "deplorables," ignoring names and insults by the thug culture and their enablers just roll off my back.

There’s a McDonald’s near Madison Square Garden that I patronize pretty frequently that requires you to show a sales receipt to get into the men’s room. I’ve never hung around there without ordering something...or after having ordered...but my guess is that they’d throw my lily white a$$ out tout suite if I did.
