Democrats Sue Russia, WikiLeaks And Trump Campaign Over Election 'Conspiracy'

The Democratic National Committee filed an attention-grabbing lawsuit against the Russian government, WikiLeaks and Donald Trump's presidential campaign that claims they conspired to interfere with the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

The suit — which is unlikely to yield any outcome given the ongoing investigation into Russia's attack and the legal difficulties involved with suing a foreign government — develops a theory about alleged collusion between Trump's campaign and the Russians.

"The conspiracy constituted an act of previously unimaginable treachery: the campaign of the presidential nominee of a major party in league with a hostile foreign power to bolster its own chance to win the presidency," the DNC writes in the suit.

I don't know how they can call it a conspiracy. Most of Trump's urging of the Russians to hack Hillary was in the open and laughed off by Trump supporters. Roger Stone made no secret of his connections with Julian Assange. Assange's connections to Russian hackers is well known, and Assange's connections to Sean Hannity are now known.

It gives Trump an opportunity to counterclaim which I hope he does against Podesta, Clinton and the rest of the dossier gang with full force and effect.

Straw grasping attempt to keep the collusion narrative alive once Mueller reluctantly admits there’s nothing there.

Counterclaims open the DNC up to discovery... We’ll see how long this publicity stunt lasts.

Hey DNC, what did they collude about?

Oh yeah, releasing DNC emails.

Why is it again that democrats would lose an election if people knew what democrats really do and say when cameras aren’t pointed at them?

The defendants should immediately enjoin this lawsuit to prevent the Dems from dropping it. Remember Liddy joining the lawsuit whatshisname filed against him? The idiot later tried to drop it but couldn’t it. It had to go to court.

Trump should jump right .

It also sucks up more money from donors to the RNC, who are now paying, as I understand it, 20% of the Trump.org legal fees. That should inspire more donations.

the sole purpose of this meritless lawsuit is to give the leftist fake stream media a hook to keep the words “Trump”, “Russia”, “WikiLeaks” & “collusion” in the same headline for years. they know the mueller investigation is going to no-bill Trump himself very shortly, so they need a replacement hook ...

On the bright side, sworn public depositions can now be taken of those who had anything to do with, or had access to, the DNC computer server from which data was apparently taken.
