“Anyone who is unwilling to accept the results of an election is a threat to democracy” - Hillary Clinton 2016

The funny part is, Trump trolled her into making that statement, by hinting that he wouldn’t necessarily support the winner if he thought the election was rigged.

She jumped on it and made that statement to try and shame him, assuming she would win, but when he won and she was a sore loser - she exposed as a hypocrite, to boot.

She should have known better - he had just done the exact same thing to all 16 of the Republican candidates. He makes noises about not ruling out a third party run if he lost the primary - when it came up in the debate he refused to pledge support to the winner while all 16 of the others took the bait and pledged, just to make him look bad. Then they looked like hypocrites for not supporting him when he won.

Now, I think by firing Comey and threatening to fire Mueller, he has done the exact same thing - trolled his enemies into pursuing this Russia witch hunt for over a year, knowing there’s nothing to find on him (because he didn’t do it).

What if he’s up to his old tricks? Force a deep investigation into government corruption so that when they find dirt on the real criminals - they have no choice but to indict - or they look like hypocrites or worse.

I sense a recurring theme here.

Trump is a clever guy
