President Trump endorsed Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., in the race for the U.S. Senate and vowed to campaign alongside her.
Marsha Blackburn is a wonderful woman who has always been there when we have needed her. Great on the Military, Border Security and Crime. Loves and works hard for the people of Tennessee. She has my full endorsement and I will be there to campaign with her! Trump tweeted Thursday.
Blackburn is running for the seat currently held by Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., a critic of Trump who is retiring at the end of his term, against former Democratic Gov. Phil Bredesen.

Marsha Blackburn Ping!
Have been a Marsha Blackburn fan for many years - happy that she’s going to end up in the Senate (one of 100 is better than 1 of 435).
The Bush League Republicans will work to elect the Democrat.
I don’t know much about Bredeson, but the first time I saw his TV ad here in TN he seemed slimy and scuzzy. Just gut instinct. Blackburn is cool; hoping for her to win big!
That POS Corker is already onboard for the democrat.
Corker is certainly a Bush League Republican. However, Marsha Blackburn is certainly not a B or C list conservative (like Roy Moore or Rick Saccone).
Indeed. She’s a winner if all goes as planned!
Good news isn’t it! Love it when our people just plain rock it!
Bredesen is dangerous because he actually governed like a Republican when he was governor. He is sane enough to realize that the people of TN will not elect a hardcore liberal. I would say that if elected his voting record would be about the same as the squish Bob Corker. That is why he was selected by the Democrats to run against Blackburn.
That is most of the TN GOP they run as conservatives but govern like Howard Baker mushy moderates. Haslam, Alexander and Corkhole being prime examples of big government, country club Rs.
