Agents from ICE have arrested 225 illegal immigrants in New York state as part of a six-day operation.
ICE officials said that more than 180 of those detained were convicted criminals or had criminal charges pending ...and more than 80 of them had been issued a final order of removal and failed to leave the U.S. voluntarily -- or had been previously removed from the U.S., but illegally returned....Those who already have outstanding orders of deportation will be immediately deported to their home country.
Several detainees had prior felony convictions for serious or violent offenses, including child sex crimes, weapons charges and assault, or had past convictions for significant or multiple misdemeanors.
"ICE continues to face significant obstacles with policies created by local officials which hinder cooperation between ICE and local law enforcement. Yet, with the tireless efforts of the men and women of ICE, this operation was a great success," said Thomas R. Decker, field office director for ERO New York.

Cuomo and DeBlasio must be having fits. They just lost more supporters.
They already have broken the law by being here illegally which is a crime in itself......any arrests, citations etc.etc. violent or otherwise only increases their criminal record.
Just had a thought. The new statute for expelling “violent” illegal aliens should be similar to the “at will” employment statutes. No reason needed for expelling of an illegal alien.
That said, this is only a drop in the bucket, where are the real deportations? When will Trump do what he promised and rid the country of ALL these lawbreakers?

It gets really old when people keep that no matter what the context...it didn’t take a year and half for all these people to flood our country, it’s sure going to take years to flush and get them out. Especially when you have activists corrupt judges and attorneys stopping the enforcement of laws already on books....and need I mention the politicians and political leaders who are fighting for open borders.

That’s how I see it.....this was just a 6 day raid.....225 is great considering the opposition to their work.
Cuomo says, “Can’t you at least wait until they vote in the mid-terms?”
