President Trump can’t count on pal and personal lawyer Michael Cohen to follow the code of omerta, another Trump lawyer warned Wednesday.
Cohen will readily give up Trump’s secrets to the feds in return for immunity from criminal charges, longtime Trump legal adviser Jay Goldberg says he told the President in a phone call Friday.
“Michael will never stand up” for Trump if the government moves against him with breaking bank fraud and campaign finance laws, Goldberg said, the Wall Street Journal reported.
On a loyalty scale of 1 to 100, Cohen rates a 1, Goldberg advised Trump.

And where does Goldberg rate on that scale if he’s running to the press with the contents of this phone call?
If Goldberg leaked this to the so-called press, his loyalty rating would be 0
All this would do is hype Mueller to think he can easily pursue Cohen, and get a ‘deal’. So weeks into talking on some ‘flip’....Mueller will wake up to realize that there’s really not much to flip. My bet is that the only real criminal problem is with tax structure and credits.

How does the bank fraud and campaign finance fraud play into this?
The money apparently came from Cohen, did it not? Was he running for President? There was a signed contract, where is the fraud? Or should I ask, how are they spinning this to make these accusations?
If Cohen is a suspect in criminal activity and acted in collusion with, then private citizen Donald Trump, then why wasn’t he arrested? Which is the only way they should be able to breach attorney-client privilege.

The theory that Mueller would try to flip Cohen against Trump was being floated almost a year ago, as I recall.
Nothing known could possibly damage DJT, especially if it were “squeezed”out of his lawyer by this highly illegal means. Anyone trying this kind of police state crap in America should be locked in a dungeon with the key sent to Pluto on the next departing ship
Yes, it is illegal and likely would not hold up in court. It’s about leaving Trump stained so, even if he is found innocent, he is permanently tarnished.

There was a long list of people that Mueller thought would flip too and give the info to nail Trump. Even if they did what they gave was not enough. Cohen is smart enough to not do crazy stuff since no one would want him again as a lawyer.
Trump put Goldy Locks up to the call reveal. That will keep Mueller busy.
