Dr. Assim Rahaibani, a Syrian doctor, has told journalist Robert Fisk, writing for the British publication, The Independent, that last week’s alleged chemical gas attack by the Assad government on civilians in Douma did not happen. The alleged chemical attack was the pretext for a combined bombing raid by the United States, France, and the United Kingdom.
“I was with my family in the basement of my home three hundred meters from here on the night but all the doctors know what happened,” Rahaibani told Fisk. “There was a lot of shelling [by government forces] and aircraft were always over Douma at night — but on this night, there was wind and huge dust clouds began to come into the basements and cellars where people lived.”
According to Rahaibani, “People began to arrive here suffering from hypoxia, oxygen loss. Then someone at the door, a ‘White Helmet,’ shouted ‘Gas!,' and a panic began. People started throwing water over each other.”
This was a video that was shown around the world, but Rahaibani explained what really happened. “Yes, the video was filmed here, it is genuine, but what you see are people suffering from hypoxia — not gas poisoning.

Right after our Syrian attack this "thing" started posting stuff from the most specious web sites quoting Leftist writers. Because of his handle I asked him if he was Paul Ryan, one of the other Democrat Representatives to the US House, or one of the Reps from the Wisconsin House but he has refused to answer. I too looked at his history here at FR and saw not only was he only five months old but he was always sowing mostly seeds of discontent and helping to ramp up others who may disagree with the attack. He is doing a pretty good job of trying to separate some people here from supporting Trump.
He keeps posting this drivel over and over again so I really think he is a Dem Troll, or maybe a Never Trump Troll.

I don’t know about the chemical weapons use near Damascus.
There were chemical weapons used in Afrin. That is a Fact. And it was not done by Assad. That was done by Turkey surrogates. Nusra signature. There were previous incidents in NE Syria. That one could have been Assad, but friends told me it was al Qaeda and the components came from Turkey.
I have no doubt that what was blown up was a threat to Israel or to the US forces. The same was true with the strike last year.
You may like Assad, but he does not have clean hands either. That is why Turkey attacked Afrin. It was allowed.
Assad is owned by Iran. They don’t come any worse than their terrorists.

Robert Fisk is a hardcore leftist, anti-American but a brave journalist who has covered a lot of conflicts. You have to watch what he writes, period. Could be accurate, false, inaccurate, or a mix. Also depends on his sources.

I am sure you have seen OAN’s reporter on the ground, too. He also interviewed multiple witnesses who said the White Helmets ran into the hospital with video cameras, shouting “gas, gas”, and pouring water on people which then caused a panic among those not playing a part.
What I though you meant was that bombing the chem factories in Syria sent a message to NK.
I thought that the real indicator of truth was in the video where the children who were foaming at the mouth and convulsing stood up at the end and were applauded.

The OPCW were invited in by Assad and Russia. The people shooting at OPCW would have been some faction that doesn't want the site investigated.

Also, the survivors of the gas attack are being bullied and told not to talk about what they observed. Doctors are being forced to give misinformation and the dead are not allowed cause of death examinations. If the gas attacks did not happen, there would be no effort to block the verification.
Every time I check out these post alleging that the gas attacks were a false flag, I find plenty of evidence showing that the gas attacks were real which knocks down the false narrative. Whoever is continuously posting this anti Trump propaganda is trying to divide the pro Trump followers. Their persistence is hoping that soon that those with the truth will no longer oppose the false narrative and let them spew the lies unchallenged.
