A group of House Republicans are calling for the Department of Justice to investigate a laundry list of former agency heads and people involved in the investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email server.

The letter is addressed to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, FBI Director Christopher Wray and U.S. Attorney for the District of Utah John Huber. It asks that each of these men use their respective powers to investigate “potential violation(s) of federal statues” on the part of former FBI Director James Comey, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Attorney General Loretta Lynch, Acting Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe, FBI agent Peter Strzok and FBI counsel Lisa Page.

The representatives include members of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, including Rep. Ron DeSantis of Florida, Dave Brat of Virginia and Paul Gosar of Arizona, and other GOP House Members, like Claudia Tenney of New York.

The letter said "those listed, but not limited to..." Rod Rosenstein should be included in that list since he also signed one or more of the FISA warrant applications. Everyone else who signed them are all gone. Why is Rosenstein still employed? The letter makes it clear in footnote #17 that Rosenstein should be recused from any examination of FISA abuse, nor should U.S. Attorney John Huber, or any Special Counsel (if appointed), report to Rosenstein. If there's enough of a reason to recuse Rosenstein's involvement in this matter, that means he's considered a security risk, and shouldn't even be allowed to report to work. Same goes for Strozk and Page.

Why should the rest of the FBI/DOJ be forced to work with people who have compromised the integrity of those Departments? Any other law enforcement agency would have suspended these people from the moment their involvement was discovered. The FBI Director and Attorney General have the duty to protect the law abiding men and women who perform their daily duties in these departments. I certainly wouldn't want to have to work alongside someone I knew had violated Federal Laws, their oath of office, and departmental policy and procedure.

Go your really think our timid, sleepy little elfish AG will launch an investigation against anyone of these people?

How many investigations will it take before they all go to prison.

This is to publicly put pressure on US AG Jeff Sessions and FBI Director Chris Wray to open criminal investigations into the conspiracy against Donald Trump. Sessions and Wray now will have to respond (a) stating there are already criminal investigations open into these individuals, (b) they will take into consideration whether to open a criminal investigation based on among other information the pending DOJ OIG report, or (c) decline to open criminal investigations into any or all of those individuals listed.

It appears to me the coup plotters in the justice department have been identified, next up is the Obama administration specifically intel and national security.

"A group of House Republicans..."

While some might say I'm nit-picking, I have noticed a pattern over the years in how the MSM frames stories like this.

If Democrats were in control, the story would read "CONGRESS calls for DOJ investigation..."

Yes, you and the others who attacked AG Sessions will need to share a big plate of crow; a very large plate.

My advice: start chowing down now and get your just fill.

I hear Mrs Sessions is providing a delicious Southern beverage.

It's called "Sucker Punch."

All well and good. This will fall into the same category of the JFK files which were *partially* released after 50 years.

Congressional investigations are worthless. Nothing ever gets done with the findings of fact. Oh, there may end up being “recommendations”. And that will be the end of it. Peter Strzok is not going to be raided at gunpoint at 5:30 am asleep in his bed. If right now, today, it was determined with metaphysical certainty that Mueller and his merry band of 16 attorneys conspired, in writing, with full documentation, to interfere with or derail Trump there would be utterly no consequences. None. All of this is only Kabuki theater. None of these folks ever face any consequences and in my estimation, they never will.

No, I see it as grandstanding before a fall election.

As if these guys really want our nation’s laws to be enforced.

This is Kabuki Theater.

Where were they all last year? Where were they when we wanted Planned Parenthood defunded? Where were they when we wanted controlled spending?

These folks are not on our side.

They expect Sessions and Wray to actually investigate this group of criminals? They won’t even comply with demands for info from the Republican led committees.

I’m certain Alfred E. Sessions is thinking about appointing a Blue Ribbon
Panel that will look into the possibility of maybe, at some future date,
decide if the likelihood that some form of investigation could maybe be done, if the star all align.
