“Gop moderate bloc?”
Another name for the “obstructionists” in the Republican Party. These guys are “self deporting” from the Congress. A good thing.
Not necessarily a “good thing.” If these guys retire before finishing their stint, then someone they want can be placed in the seat, upon which this someone will become essentially the “incumbent.” Thus any competition for the seat within the party will be greatly handicapped in the primary against gaining the party nomination, as well as hurting the other party’s nominee in the regular election.
