FBI agents are clean, decent patriots

I used to think that of CIA and State Department agents, too.

If the FBI, CIA, IRS, NSA, Department of Justice, Democrat Party, Republican Party, US court system, and the US free press are corrupt, there is no safety for any of us.

The FBI has become a laughingstock under Comey, Meuller, and McCabe. We are a long long way from Elliott Ness.

* This should have been a national story resulting in national outrage. DA John Chisholm should have been removed from office and now serving time in federal prison*

John Doe probes into certain staffers of Governor Scott Walker

On 7 December, 2017, the Wisconsin Department of Justice issued a report criticizing what it described as the "breathtaking" scope of the John Doe investigation. It stated that the investigators obtained the personal email account details, including passwords, of 35 Republican politicians and aides, and hundreds of thousands of emails, including emails to Republicans Senator Ron Johnson, GOP chair Reince Priebus, and Congressman Sean Duffy. The emails also included 150 personal emails between Wisconsin State Senator Leah Vukamir and her daughter, including health information, which were placed into a folder labeled "opposition research."

The FBI has serious problems. Average Americans no longer trust it. Most of us will refuse to speak to them or cooperate in investigations for fear of being framed with a process crime.

IMO they can no longer serve effectively as a law enforcement agency.

Comey will be ineligible to hold elected office after his felony convictions.

If this tripe annoys a few bureaucrats —

Hey, well at least some good comes out of this.

Comey proved himself to be a big pussy. While his book, in the word of RATS, is a “nothing burger”.

Comey is presently making millions, then, he'll disappear rich. In the very near future, none of this will matter to him or with those he decides to associate. He'll have a luxurious 'rest of life.'(And, you still have to pay his oversize government pension)

I hope that you are wrong, however, I can't imagine that the sick D.C. will put a finger on him. More furious by the day.

You have to admit. Comey would look much cuter in that red dress and feather boa of Hoover’s.

I visited DU yesterday. They were trying to decide who they hate more, Ryan or Comey.

I was told to go there yesterday because of my nonworshipful post on Barbara Bush. Maybe I should. We agree on Ryan and Comey!

Since he considers himself savior of the universe, I was surprised he didn’t select his little tights and cape outfit for the interview.

Naw, he wore that one for the after interview party at George’s hotel room.

People say you need a shower after visiting DU. I didn’t; I was laughing too hard. First, their hatred of Ryan is just silly; he advanced the Democrat platform like a yeoman. But far more hilarious was their invective against Comey. If the Clinton-fixer thought A Higher Loyalty would re-ingratiate him with Hillary supporters, he has a big fat shock coming.

Re Barbara Bush. I’d say something but she’s obviously dying. I’ll not pile on under the circumstances, though were she in the pink of health I’d have a thing or two to say.

Is the FBI so rotten, that there can’t be one or more Serpico(s), out there?
We all know the answer!

Well, boys, whatcha gonna do about it? The FBI's reputation hasn't just taken a hit in this affair, and what you're seeing is no "drip, drip," but arterial bleeding. They need a tourniquet, not a pretty PR bow with nothing underneath.

Two items fascinate me about this affair: the first is that so few government/media insiders appear to appreciate just how disgusted the country is watching its former heroes turn out to be swine, and second, that the likely upshot is another election wherein the media/government establishment gets whacked on the head and can't figure out where the anger is coming from.

The next few days may be vastly entertaining, however. Naturally not being an insider I have not seen the book before its publication but the derisive impression I'm getting from those who have is that we may in fact have an American classic on our hands and I do not mean that in a kind way. Comey probably should have stuck to rolling bums for quarters.

“Good lord, what a self-serving self-centered jackass. True to form he thinks he’s the smartest guy around.”

Lots of .gov people are like this. Its called the Dunning-Kruger effect. Mix that with a personal inclination towards tyranny and you get the deep state problems we have today.

Well, I guess I wasn’t respectful enough about Mrs. Bush. And if my kids are up to what hers have been, when I’m on my death bed, go ahead and hope I give my deathbed confession of whatever I did to cause a new generation to go wrong.

I might as well quit free republic the day old Herbert kicks, because I am not going to be on here wailing tears while he lies in state and is eulogized as a great man.
