"...burned himself to death due to global warming..."
This lawyer was totally normal and completely sane. This tragedy was due to changes in weather and had nothing to do with his mental health.

You do not set yourself on fire and be considered sane. He had some deep demons that consumed him just as the fire did in the end. Deeply tragic end to a life.
