One of the biggest tragedies of the 20th century was not the abomination of the soviets and the post nazi cold war, but the decade long fumbling of the post cold war peace.

Had the U.S. treated the Russians as well as we treated the unrepentant german nazi pukes after the war, the world would be in a much better place, but then, the unrepentant nazi pukes who set up, and are still running our deep state could allow no such thing. Hence the rise of a pukebag like putin.

Well, we had the legacy of the Soviets all over our own government after the end of the Cold War. They hadn’t given up on taking the USA down.

Never mind the nucleus of what is now the European Union coming together so rapidly after WWII, in 1951, as the European Coal and Steel Community. If the USA’s government wasn’t permeated back then with what is known today as the “deep state”, we would have recognized it for what it is and smashed it. We also would not have allowed someone like Alger Hiss to write the UN’s charter, if there were to be a UN at all.
