Now, I don’t particularly like the whole concept of ‘international law’ when they try to override the Constitution with it, but chemical weapons WERE still deployed, and that demands a response no matter who it was from.
By destroying the weapons instead of the regime, it was an acceptable threading of the needle in my eyes.
I don’t think the Russians are smart enough to learn how we developed the technology to make our air power invisible to radar.

I'm confused - do you want Trump to go in and do what Obama tried to do (and caused the whole mess)? Assad and Putin are setting the stage for using Chem weapons as "just another tool in the bag" and it makes sense to squash this and to keep it front and center in the international court. Trump has signaled he wants us out of Syria but he's not going to concede that they can use such weapons at-will. It's not really that complicated if one just takes a breath and lets the Oxygen reach the brain.
Obama’s and Clinton’s destructive wars of 2011 “Arab Spring” were designed to support Sunni / Muslim Brotherhood rule. Look at the destruction caused in Libya and Syria - and he nearly succeeded in turning Egypt into a failed state.
These wars launched several million muslim (mostly young men) into Europe, to further cause chaos there.
After all this, the excuse of “we have to stop chemical weapons use” is just a very fake and phony cover. Its a pity you believe it. It’s not really that complicated if one just takes a breath and lets the Oxygen reach the brain.
Apologies for some of my comments - it just seems many are prepared to give up the ship because they are pissed that one of the dingy’s has a leak in it.
