The coalition hit the Barzah Research and Development Center outside Damascus with 76 missiles, destroying the facility...

The second and third targets were part of what the U.S. military described as the Him Shinshar chemical weapons complex outside the city of Homs. The military said the strikes “completely destroyed” the complex’s chemical weapons storage facility and “successfully hit and sustained damage” to the installation’s chemical weapons bunker.

76 missiles to take out one unhardened target? That’s not encouraging. Or Fake News.

A cop, yes. But an nonsalaried cop. We bailed out Kuwait, but got nothing in return.

You are correct. The first US military accident with nerve gas occurred at Dugway Proving Ground in Utah in 1955. There were two officers burning off gas when one of the men’s butyl suit leaked. He went down. The second injected atropine and the officer lived (but lost every hair on his body). Gas was burnt off at Dugway for years, and may still be occurring.

I am still mystified about the weak Russian response. I thought they were going to attack all sources where rockets were launched. This would have been a great opportunity for them to find out if their weapons were effective. We shall never know, do we?

This was a message for both Iran and North Korea.

It’s gone off the rails since the Russians tried to take that former spy and his daughter in the UK.

It was crazy this past week with people trying to tell me it wasn’t Assad causing all of this. And last night, some people were just nuts. Thank goodness there are people like you around.

I am with you. You have to give the three allies including the USA the benfit of the doubt based on what has been reported. I must admit the Whitehouse laid out a lot of good points why it was Assad last night.

I truly think there are a lot of Putin fans on this site and they are a big problem causing a lot of problems.

Well, how is it not even an onsite security guard was even injured?

We didn’t want collateral civilian casualties. Did somebody get tipped off?

How is it we bombed chlorine and possibly sarin stockpiles in Damascus and nobody caught a whiff?

Sarin has to be destroyed by flame, you have to use fuel air explosions or it gets just scattered around the area.

Chlorine is unaffected by anything, all you can do is dilute it.

Maybe somebody called U-Haul?

Russia is all hat and no cattle.

The world should be told the dirty little secret, they are toothless and far behind in technology.

But then, how would we scare Congress into defense appropriations?

OK Vlad, keep on talkin’ about those doomsday missiles......

Oh boy, I do hope you’re 100% right.

I wish we could say the same about China.
