Has it occurred to anyone that if Russia really wanted to screw with the American political system, that they would now start planting false evidence for Mueller to find showing collusion between Trump and Russia? It would guarantee impeachment, tying us up for a year or so. They would also be able to get back at Trump for the actions he has taken that have not been in Russia’s interest.

I've long been concerned about just this danger. The supposed concern the deep state had that Russia may have compromising intel on Trump has morphed into giving Russia real leverage because of our own government's actions.
