Groan. I feel an essay coming on about what Syria is really about like a episode of food poisoning.
Bottom line: If you want to avoid wars in the Arabian Gulf, Europe and Israel you are compelled to oppose Syrian, Iranian and Russian initiatives in the ME.
It’s all about money, might and political power. Old school. That’s how the rest of the world plays. Hiding and denial only enables it.
If the GCC doesn’t acquire another pipeline route for their products there will be war -ME regional, then European.
Iran, Syria and Russia intend to shut out the GCC from their markets as well as Europe from its suppliers. They will then wage wars of conquest in the ME and Europe.
You can deny and hide but war will find you.
