Nobody in DC lies, except Scooter Libby, and he just got pardoned.

Lacking candor means deliberate lying. He committed perjury.

Those sound like administrative infractions, not criminal violations.

Mueller is reviewing his notes on the case of four men— Henry Tameleo, Peter Limone, Louis Greco and Joseph Salvati.

Many thanks to Howie Carr for refreshing our collective memory about the work history of Robert Mueller. /s

“Lack of Candor” is the FBIs term, he can’t do anything about it. Haven’t you ever worked somewhere where there were special terms for things? That’s all this is. Everyone knows it means LYING.

I’ve heard several FBI people who’ve been interviewed say the cardinal rule they were told day #1 on the job is to never lack candor, it’s the best way to get fired.

Complete garbage, this is part of the cover-up. You have the full surveillance capabilities of the Untied States being used against an opposition campaign illegally, the product of that surveillance then being released to the msm and used to appoint a sc with no boundaries. And all the ig can come up with is lack of candor? The same thing will happen over Trump’s lawyers homes and offices being raided and information being leaked almost immediately on any client he represents. And congress says nothing. This is the most corrupt government in maybe all of human history. And WE elected them!

“Will McCabe make a deal? I hope so and start singing like a canary”

If he finds out he can pocket that 500K Legal Defense Fund that the leftist rubes set up for him, he just might dump most of his Lawyers and start singing.

served only to advance McCabe’s personal interests

Double-speak for "to take down a duly elected President".

Funny, because this is the exact thing that got Libby locked up.

“Is there a law against “lacking candor”?”

Not likely. I think some folks here are suffering from premature glee. I’ve not seen anything yet in the report that says actual laws were violated. Sounds more like McCabe is just having his wrist slapped for violating FBI code of conduct.

That could be, IANAL. But note that this report is about “certain allegations” relating to McCabe. There could be more to come, we have no way of knowing...

how refreshing to find another that can see all things around them. Bingo.

What’s worse is the timing of the Comey interview and book...don’t think for one second the media didn’t get a heads up about the release of the IG report so this all could be buried under the book release. none of this is by chance and it makes me sick.

I’m afraid having lack of candor does not require handcuffs and a perp walk. However conspiracy does. A decent criminal investigator could make the case easily.
