I also thought the Attorney Generals office acted as the legal defense for the executive branch. and I always thought the President of the United States was the head of the Executive Branch
Now it seems that the FBI is the enforcement division that assists the Attorney Generals office which now acts as the Prosecution and assault branch to attack the President of the United States relentlessly

None of this was ever going to court. Mueller is compiling a long laundry list of ‘crimes’ to present to congress.

Think about Bill Ayers (”Guilty as hell, free as A bird.” “I don't regret setting bombs.”) and why he avoided conviction. It was because of the methods the FBI used to target Ayers' militant group, the Weather Underground. So, the FBI acts inappropriately and a criminal militant anti-American who made bombs and was responsible for people dying goes ‘free as a bird’, but a successful US businessman, who has created jobs and who is very pro-American, has his attorney's office raided and records absconded - to try to find records related to a prostitute he allegedly had a fling with over 10 years ago. I don't know this country anymore.
