This all goes back to when Hillary announced their needed to be controls on what could be said on the internet. It was over a decade ago she said it.

Back 30 years ago in CA, the media and DNC began an organized effort to only report what they wanted the people to hear.
Back in 2010, I asked my friends in CA what they thought of the Tea Party movement.
They had NEVER heard of it.

The majority of Americans only get their news from the MSM and if they can remove all dissenting opinion, they have won.

California is the laboratory. When it is deemed polished and developed enough for the rest of us the intention is to roll it out to the nation. The effect will be far-reaching. Effective controls in California will affect thw whole net as physical representatives and offices in California can be arrested or fined or otherwise sanctioned for material emanating from, say, Louisiana. Bezos et al will, of course, love it a it legitimizes and empowers their own proclivities for censorship.
