Sure, I suppose, but the class is probably more about what really works and what doesn’t, what’s worthwhile and what isn’t.

Yes, we do this at home and I’d like to get the boys to an event like this. They want black powder and I’ve promised them kits in 2-3 years. Still remember making mine back in junior high or high school—a 50 cal. Thompson Renegade.

“Way back when”, as they say, I got ‘WECSOG certified’ building FALs. When those parts kits dried up, I swapped to building AKMs. After that, it was Saiga conversions, and finally ARs. (Less experience than some folks, more than others! ;^) One obvious conclusion: ARs are pretty much “adult legos”...
