Larry Kudlow and Steve Mnuchin as good as it gets!!
• Morning AB, All. As always, thank you AB for doing this thread so reliably and keeping the peace with gentle thread policing. Thank you Bray for weekly written wisdom, Thank all yon contributors for excellent commentary to flesh it all out.
I did not put up a youtube summary of last Sunday’s (Easter’s) political talk shows because I was eating at a Japanese restaurant where they throw shrimp in your mouth then jumping up and down on trampolines at the “Shell We Jump” place near me. Well -I- wasn’t jumping, but granddaughter was.
I will get back to it today, please forgive.
I also did not posts any daily posts last week because it was my self-appointed spring vacation.
Meanwhile, anecdote I will share.
Seems my nephew, Matthew Fish, a young man age 15, possibly someday involved with my granddaughter when he becomes President at age 35. Or so he tells me.
Next summer he goes to Bejing as he was selected to be part of some kind of mock UN thing.
Matthew is very political astute and he loves to talk with his Aunt Pat (me), as I know even more than he knows!!!
So evidently the makeup of the National Honor Society is very different from the day when I was in it. Yes I was, around 1965, when I was nominated and went on stage during a school assembly as it was in those days.
Today they have some kind of National Honor Society (NHS) where they choose a certain amount of NHS Members to become part of.
In order to qualify for this National NHS group, a nominee must volunteer time after school and engage in extra-curricular activities.
Which Matthew Fish does, teaching robotics to young children who love it.
BUT MATTHEW FISH DIDN’T MAKE THE National NHS!
He has straight A’s on his report card, volunteers his time, got nominated to go to Bejing. His picture should be under “perfect member of the NHS”.
So Matthew’s parents asked why he wasn’t chosen and they said because, after tests are graded and returned, he always asks them why this or that was marked wrong, why was it wrong, what is the right answer.
Evidently this “habit” annoyed the teachers, who should not have to answer such questions, heaven forbid.
Matthew’s father did some investigating and it turned out they nominated a Muslim, a child of a local politico (this is Austen prepatory school in Massasschusetts) and some questionable students….five was the school limit I think.
Cause it’s not about talent, skill or hard work. It’s about your nationality, your political influence and Matthew, God bless, is a white boy with skill, Christian and I think he’s a threat to the local yokels.
Matthew’s parents were going to pull him out of that school but Matthew wants to stay.
Being the best at something no longer matters, folks.

I was supposed to post this earlier but I forgot, however...
I have received some complaints that the thread has become a gabfest with very little reporting on what’s being said on the shows.
Of course, I have always asked for this and y’all have always delivered. So I reject that we “don’t cover the shows at all”, but accept the fact that we can always do a better job at it nevertheless.
I am asking for all courageous, intrepid FReepers to watch the various shows and report on them here. You’ll perhaps need strong stomachs, too.
So, please watch and report. Others depend on you!

Trump wants the chicoms to play by the rules not cheat 24/7 because other Presidents let them get away with it. Wall Ass playing nothing but gotcha techniques with Kudlow. Wall ass is a true low life. Kudlow is smart enough not to fall for wall asses gotcha questions which is all he has.
Kudlow is so smart he runs rings around Wallass without even trying.
Kudlow:"the path to free trade has to include China agreeing to trade negotiations",all wall ass can say is trade war, trade war, he's so full of DNC chatting points its pathetic.
' Kudlow treats wall ass like a stupid student who is still learning.
Kudlow: sums are too small and our economy is too strong for it to effect us.
Kudlow: Zuckerberg dresses like a punk,hard to take him serious.
Kudlow:President wants internet companies to collect local sales taxes so the playing field is more level. Kudlow: "we are looking at an enhanced figure on 1.3 trillion dollar spending bill."which means Trump never ever intended to spend all the money and will divert as much as he legally can to good spending.
Kudlow: destroys wall ass as he leaves. He's forgotten more about the economy than Wall ass even knows.
Great segment for Kudlow,not so much for wall ass.
Other than Kudlow, not an overwhelming line-up.
Some things never change.
This guy is 56 and he looks 76,tough life.
If that liberal logic was applied to pulling the trigger on an AR-15, then the free choice to pull the trigger would be completely disconnected from the consequences of people getting shot, and the trigger puller would be free of consequences. Or a person who drinks alcohol and chooses to drive would be free from the consequences of running into another vehicle or a tree.
What a wonderful world liberals live in. Like Toontown without Judge Doom.
