Arizona and Texas are moving to send hundreds of National Guard troops to the U.S.-Mexico border within days as part of President Trump's push to shore up the area until his proposed wall is built.
Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey (R) announced Friday afternoon on Twitter that he would be sending around 150 Guard troops to the U.S.-Mexico border.

Meanwhile, the Texas Military Department, which oversees the state’s National Guard, announced it would have 250 personnel and supporting aircraft, vehicles and equipment on the border with Mexico within 72 hours.
Trump on Wednesday signed a presidential memorandum directing Defense Secretary James Mattis to support DHS in securing the southern border to address a “surge of illegal activity,” including drug trafficking and illegal immigration.
The document does not specify how long or in what capacity the troops will serve.
The “lawlessness” at the southern border is “fundamentally incompatible with the safety, security, and sovereignty of the American people” and the administration “has no choice but to act,” the document states.
The president told reporters on Thursday that he wants to send between 2,000 and 4,000 guardsmen to the border.
That is lower than the 6,000 Guard troops former President George W. Bush sent in 2006 and the 1,200 former President Barack Obama sent in 2010.
Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) also sent the Guard to the border to help secure it in 2014.
Details are still scarce on the cost of the endeavor and the role the troops will have.
How long? Oh, wouldn't the illegals love to know that detail?
Need to also keep an eye on every Democrat National Guardsman - Democrats simply can’t be trusted where the law might be broken for political reasons.
My guess would be that illegals would come up through CA since the state is friendly. Could be a standoff between the Feds and CA in the future.

The BP is complaining about administration and Sessions is going to start filling up the deportation centers.
The Border Patrol will be back on the lines and the NG will be a presence and take care of much of the administration.
This is quite a shift compared to the last 30 years.

The Far East, Asia, etc are now a large source of illegals. The difference is many
come in legal with visas but fail to leave when their visa expires. Some are
saying they may be in higher numbers now than from the southern border.
150 here, 250 there, all they cando is monitor and provide intel.
I did that for free when I lived on the border.
I like to think it made a difference, but will it?
We used to buzz the Coyotes in an airplane, they would set up lookouts on high points and they used radio to run the Pollos though the arroyos..

Oregon is not refusing because they are not affected. Oregon has an anti-freedom, anti-Christian left of left government that is trying to mimic California in bringing more illegals into the state.
The governor got a big campaign donation from Soros 3 days before she announced she would not send the Oregon guard to the border.
But what are the Rules of Engagement? I hope it isn’t “bienvenido a los Estados Unidos, amigo!”
I’m hoping it’s more “Get down on the ground NOW! Put your hands behind your head!”
