You may find this hard to believe but there were MANY single,childless women LONG before woman’s lib——and they never suffered from mental illness.

We are in agreement that there was less evidence of mental damage for unmarried older women in the past (at least in appearances). This is because society had more of an authority at that time to put them in a place that had more use for them, such as convents or school. There’s a reason they are called spinsters.
It is different now, however. The dominant agenda (from MSM, online dating, deviant communities, etc.) encourages such women to become spendthrift nymphomaniacs obsessed with themselves, and this can be damaging in the long term to mental health (much like pornography). Cities and lack of cohesive family compound this issue, since these women are usually stowed in some filing-cabinet apartment away from everything else. This issue has compounded recently since the generations which experienced the sexual revolution are now reaching spinsterhood age.
In addition, studies have shown that females who have had many sexual partners are less functional in long-term intimate relationships which are monogamous due to endocrine response. Combine such dysfunction with a lack of family to show for it and a lack of personal growth, and you get a ticking time bomb in some respects.
