Nigel Farage has agreed with the notion that not having full control of the UK’s borders would be a “slap in the face” to many who voted to leave the European Union.
The Chairman of Migration Watch UK, Lord Andrew Green said: “The failure to secure full control over EU immigration would be a slap in the face to many millions who voted for Brexit.”
Mr Farage on his LBC show said: “Boy isn’t he right about that! We’re told the plan from the government is to give a presumption to grant, rather than refuse, settle status in the UK
“Some officials expect immigration numbers to go up as a result of this and not down."

He doesn’t want to be the PM. At least that is what he has said. Perhaps he is regretting that decision now.
What’s being complained about here is little if anything to do with ‘Islamic hordes’, since it concerns the status of existing EU citizens remaining in the UK after Brexit. Few of these are Muslim.
