Where are we gonna get 700 judges at short time, who are NOT liberal and will do their jobs? THis is the gubmint’ we are talking about.
Even as an employer in a PRIVATE production company, we are having a hard time hiring the right person and believe me, we are close to placing “must be right wing, hates obama and every liberal, do the job systematically, not a slacker and smart enough to be trained at a short time.” just to ge this over with. Time is money...
How about lawyers in the military are sworn in as immigration judges and court hearings take place at military bases? Have the military pay all the cost and don’t need any new appropriations from Congress.
Well if the current judges are going to be graded on how many cases they clear in a year then I'm expecting a certain percentage will be fired for cause, adding to the backlog. Might as well bite the bullet and ramp up recruitment as quickly as they can. These are civil court judges. They can be hired and fired at will. They don't need senate approval.
