Many of the comments questioned the motives of white women who adopted black children.

I question the motives of these particular "white women" who adopted only black children. It seems to me that if they wanted an truly "inclusive" family they would have sought to adopt underprivileged/"at-risk" children regardless of race. They would not have gone on what, to all appearances, was a "black-kid shopping spree".

I learned from reading the article and a police report the following:

The children were adopted from 2 biological families. That means that they all had blood brothers or sisters with them. So...sorry, not gonna fault the moms for adopting 2 families.

In 2011, Sarah was arrested for domestic violence against one of the girls. So, CPS has had information since then that there might be trouble (Sarah spanked one of the kids hard enough to leave bruises on her tummy and back-you can read the police report to find out why....CPS should have had more of an eye on them).

Why did the neighbors not call CPS before they actually did? CPE got involved because one of the kids was begging the neighbors for food and told them to hide the food so he wouldn’t get into trouble with the moms. This happened more than once to more than one neighbor...but one neighbor finally called and CPS came to visit. When CPS came to visit the first time, the family was home but didn’t answer the door. When CPS came the next time, the family had already left. And then, of course, CPS being CPS and doing the bang-up job they are famous for, CPS went back to the house...AFTER THE KIDS WERE DEAD!

On a side personal note, I had a post yanked a couple weeks ago cos I used the f word and sh!t. Ok, someone objected. Well, I object to the use of narrow-minded names that some of you are calling these women. They were lesbians. Not gonna say I think two lesbians make a good set of parents, cos I don’t. But I don’t see the need to use vulgar language to describe them. What if I wanted to share this thread with my 14 yr old grandson? I couldn’t, because we don’t talk like that, we don’t allow those names. Sooo...yeah, there’s that.
