Correct. NY imports much electricity from neighboring states and Canada.

Just like Germany on renewables works as long as French nuclear generation is accessible, when needed. Since Germany makes income on exports, they can afford this feel good luxury.

Yep, I was thinking about the huge hydro plants in Quebec that send power to NY...and I guess NY takes ‘credit’ for those as ‘renewable’, when the other half of the Leftist movement is chaining themselves to trees to prevent them from being built...due to their ‘tearing up’ (as they see it) of the environment.
