Quite the conundrum there Her Mueller. You were hired by co-conspirator Rod Rosenstein to protect the coup plotters by pursuins and potentially removing the duly elected POTUS. In the intervening months so much damaging information has come to light and various Congressional committees have informed the American public of criminal conspiracy to subvert democracy.
So the question for Herr Mueller is, do you even attempt to charge POTUS with a knowingly false and fabricated crime given the fact that he himself may be charged as an accomplice in a seditious conspiracy plot.
I do not know about Mueller’s exposure on the U1 mess outside of the apparent fact that the FBI was aware of potential bribes being in play related to the deal and parties involved.
However, and I say this objectively, under ANY interpretation of “Conflict of Interest” he should not have been selected as the Independent Counsel. There is not a Judge in the country that would be able to hear a matter before the court if he had such a relationship with one of the primary witnesses as Mueller has with Comey. It is a DEFACTO disqualification for his present position regardless of his motives for or against the President. The same is true of the man who selected him and is overseeing the special counsel for DOJ. How in the world the AG, who has clearly stated that being a mere surrogate and commenting publicly about something creates a conflict CANNOT see this is quite mysterious to me.
Why will Sessions not apply the same standard about conflicts to those under him? If he did so, by an objective measure, it would be very apparent that the conflicts by his deputy and the man the deputy chose to be SC are FAR worse than any conflict he had at the outset. Comey is a main actor in this entire play. He is tied closely to Mueller and stated his purpose for leaking classified info (a crime) was to have his friend and mentor Mueller appointed as SC. The man who appointed Mueller was in fact the one who recommended that Comey be fired! You cannot make this stuff up and the whole thing now appears to be an incestuous mess of convoluted logic.
