Trust me, as someone who worked in HR, nobody “capable of critical thought” EVER goes voluntarily. When they do go to mandatory training, lots of eye rolling is going on.
I’d force them to fire me.
But I’m sure ya waive your rights to a choice to attend or not attend when hired, right?
My whole department had to go to compulsory sensitivity training. I think outbursts of laughter show a certin kind of sensitivity...to the absurd.
