Brings up some interesting legal questions. Insert “coffee” for “cigarette.”
“Something can get classified as a carcinogen at the drop of a feather. All it takes”
- is a bored idiot liberal control-freak bureaucracy reliant on self-perpetuating busy-work.
ROTFLOL!
Good one!
“...Liberal politics Starbucks hit by a liberal policy....”
Sweet justice. It is always rewarding to see the libs feeding on the libs.
Everything causes cancer in California, but not so in other states. Then the problem is California causes cancer.
I’ve been waiting for CA to put their stupid label on everything. This is a good thing. All the coffee roasted in CA and exported to other states will have that stupid label on it. Everyone gets to see CA is nutty.
WARNING! This product contains chemicals known to cause (fill in blank) in the STATE OF CALIFORNIA!
All other states are safe with it.
WARNING: Life is dangerous and always leads to DEATH.
I was told years ago that drinking asphalt remover isn’t good for you.
That”s why I stay away from Starbucks
“Then they declare caffeine as causing cancer. “
Actually it is the acrylamide.
Liberals going after liberals. Break out the popcorn.
Warnings everywhere left and right
= = =
Got a pothole problem — put up “Watch for Potholes” sign
Cougars eating kids and pets — put up a “Cougars in Area” sign.
We need a big sign on the ceiling above everyones’ beds -
-
DON’T GET UP. YOU WILL DIE.
DON’T STAY IN BED. YOU WILL DIE.
OK That should solve everything.
(Provided at no charge.)
They do. Beach sand contains silica.
> harmless levels and is outweighed by the benefits of drinking a cup of coffee <
I love how a corporate lawyer can determine the cost benefit of their adulterated chemical, for other people.
The benefit of their coffee to dying by cancer. Hmmm.
I love it. Proves my contention that stupidity has no lower bound and that Progressives are out to prove me right.
Certainly not, that everything causes cancer.
In my younger years, I chose to read books about risk
and my brother chose to believe don’t bother, because everything is bad for you.
My brother has since died, I knew he would, and I am still very much alive. And he finally paid attention to risk, but by that time it was too late.
Remember, if one truly believes in evolution, then we should remove ALL warning labels and then let nature take it’s course. (and, I might add, while holding their beer)
My point is, that this warning crap has gone too far. Some (idiots) seeing a warning notice will be enticed to ignore it for the anticipated thrill of doing a dangerous action. So yeah, let them die. It irks me that some people want security fences and nets along bridge walkways to prevent suicides; let the damn fools kill themselves and spare taxpayers the expense of barriers. After all, there are no barriers around subway train platforms or streetcar stops. So why put them on bridges? They jump in the water, they're fish food. Jump in front of a train, someone has to clean it up.
Warning labels are on the wrong items. Should be a warning label on every TV screen - watching liberal news will destroy your life. Should be a warning label on every store front door - buying stuff may put you in debt. Put warning labels on politicians foreheads - we do it for the money not you. Etc.
They should just have to warn customers that Starbucks coffee tastes like something that was drained out of an old VW Beetle.
