But it does damage the liver and pancreas.

From my personal experience with the drug, it makes one very short tempered, and the reports that indicate that it causes paranoia and even schizophrenia or a schizophrenia like condition are true.

Aside from paranoia it makes many lethargic, not wanting to get off their butt. Also screws up memory and ability to concentrate.

“Organic, lol? So it’s fertilized with poop and no bug spray.”

Thats how anything you consume should be grown. Not the untested and unknown stuff that they put into cigarettes. When was the last time you saw a certified fertilizer, pesticide and heavy metal test for a carton of cigarettes? Or on a bottle of liquor? Or on our vegetables? Do we even know whats in those things? Why not?

It’s really a crime what big alcohol, pharma and tobacco are doing to people and they will pay for it

I would agree with that.

I abused it for a long time. 23 years or so.

I personally find that I function much, much better without it.

I don’t think that people who choose to use it should be jailed though, I don’t think that they are criminals by that choice alone. I do think that it’s a bad decision, unless it aids a medical condition legitimately.

In moderation alcohol is very healthy for the heart, and does not damage the brain.

Not alcohol itself, but other compounds in several beverages which contain alcohol are the beneficial agents, such as the flavonoids or resveratrol found in red wines.

But only these in moderation.

MRIs are 100% useless for detecting subtle brain damage. The resolution is so poor all they can do is show gross defects and abnormalities ...

Only a correlation and this is similar to how you can show the mentally ill are 300-400% more likely to use cigarettes.

And more likely to vote Democrat.

“MJ is far less harmful than the addictive drugs pushed by the pharmaceutical industry for pain.”

Nonsense. They are different, yes, harmful in different ways.

But this study, the same finding vis-vis alcohol would be found comparing it to opiate use as dope use.

And a drug like LSD would show even less morphological damage.

Whenever an article posts as, Study Finds, I ignore it. That and try this new trick.

Bombshell, too.

Pleasant enough for a while, then it started inducing paranoia which I didn’t like so I stopped.

An excuse for the paranoia I've heard is that since using it can/could get you jailed, you tend to fear possible consequences. And if it was legalized and that fear was gone there'd be no paranoia. Sounds like BS to me, but...

It’s interesting how much the push to legalize gay marriage and legalize pot have in common. If you track them for the past fifteen or so years, they both started with low approval ratings. Every year they would change the argument, see what the polls say, and change the message again. And every year the favorable percentage would go up a few points. Very scientific lies and deceit.

It's no skin off of my nose either, until those who use it irresponsibly toke themselves into befuddled unemployability and my tax dollars end up supporting them because of their "disability". Addiction is not a disease, it's the result of a CHOICE. Same with alcohol abuse, homosexual behavior, extreme risk taking, etc. Pay for your own choices.

The greatest proven danger of using cannabis is getting into legal trouble and being placed in a cage with violent diseased criminals by corrupt bully cops.

“We want to stop you from being lazy and maybe ruining your life with a plant. So, we’ll definitely take away your ability to get a good job and let you mingle with hardened criminals for a while. That’ll fix ya!”

Thankfully, most states are ending this madness
