His SAT was 1270. If you go asking the experts....that puts you pretty much down as average (max is 1600). He may have some great A-plus grade deal via the school system, but if they lowered their expectations and just gave you an easy path...then nothing means much in the end if you do just average on the SAT tests. I think that’s what happened to him.
I’ll predict he graduates high school, and ends up with some Florida university, and gets some different path in the fall of 2019 with some freak-show university (like Columbia) and a free scholarship deal via Soros.

There were bombs in schools (sometimes threats, sometimes legit devices in pipes or other things like beer bottles) in the 70s and 80s.

Also I don’t know of anyone being injured by the devices I’d heard about in school. We’d just be dismissed for the day for safety reasons.
There were thousands of bombings by militant leftists in America in the 1970s. Those did make the news cycle.
