After days of speculation, it has been confirmed that North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un has visited China.
Rumours circulated earlier this week after local media reported a high-profile figure had arrived on a special train.
The visit, confirmed by China and North Korea, was Mr Kim's first foreign trip since taking office in 2011.
Mr Kim held "successful talks" with the Chinese leader Xi Jinping in Beijing, Xinhua reports.
The visit is considered a significant step in North Korea's preparation for talks agreed in principle with South Korea and the United States.

Could be Xi and Kim compared notes. Yes.
Could be Xi will let Trump know how realistic the prospects for a future North Korea-US summit are.
But it could also be, that China and North Korea coordinated on strategy (against) America.
Or both, China will update America. And also they met with Kim about anti-American strategy.
I myself, think that is most likely.

We should've bombed NK with heavy conventional weapons then made our move and secured the place then forced a north and south reunification.
It's all about timing and it appears China cut in line and stole our (and South Korea's) potential thunder.
Or have they decided that NK is still a valuable tool to keep this country's eye focused elsewhere while they annex the entire South China Sea and continue their annexation of Africa?
It seems that only time will tell.
