President Trump
DONALD JOHN TRUMP McCaskill: Clinton should be more careful in how she describes Trump voters Stormy Daniels lawyer slams critics who say there was 'nothing new' in '60 Minutes' interview Costello won't seek reelection in Pennsylvania MORE following a Republican's loss in a special Pennsylvania congressional election is encouraging voters to elect candidates who will support his agenda in the midterms.
A Trump campaign email with the subject line I need Allies sent Saturday includes a survey for respondents to describe what qualities are most important to them in a candidate.
2018 is our chance to elect TRUMP ALLIES to the House and Senate who will give you the agenda you voted for. No more obstruction! We want what we voted for! the email, which is signed by Trump, states.
But it cannot happen unless we put up GREAT candidates who stand by our values and prove to America that they have the fire to fight to Make America Great Again! he continues. Despite early successes, Trump-backed candidates have not fared well in a couple of recent elections.
Democrat Conor Lamb narrowly defeated Republican Rick Saccone in a special election for a Pennsylvania congressional seat earlier this month. Trump appeared at a rally for Saccone days before the election.

Keep lookin’. Few and far between Prez.
Ditch will continue to fight him every step of the way.
he catches on quickly doesn’t he....
The citizens currently have just FOUR Senators on our side.
We have to remove from office every Bush League Republican.
They have been actively blocking US from stopping the illegal alien inundation.
Flake, Corker, Hatch, Heller, Alexander, Graham, McCain, Murkowsky, Hoeven, Rubio, Tillis, Burr, Lankford, Gardner, Cornyn, Cochran, Collins, Sasse, Kennedy, Shelby, Ernst, Blunt, McConnell, Wicker, Portman, Isakson, Johnson, Toomey, Rounds, Thune, Gaines, Barasso and Enzi are all Bush League Republicans hell bent on making America into North Mexico
We are going to have to ignore Trump’s endorsement of Swamp Creatures and primary them out.
Proceed as if you have none, and never will.
Sincerely, Alberta's Child
Good luck with that.
The lying, EXEMPT, lying, preening, lying,
Congress (esp. Ryan and McConnell) TRULY HATE
Pres. Trump as much as the American people.
It needs to begin with getting rid of the stench of the Republican establishment, Karlos Rove being top of the list.
The GOPe is notorious for withholding monies to Congresspeople if they don’t toe the line - the RINO line.
By keeping the party bosses in tact, things will never change.
If he needed allies in Congress, he should have started byb rooting out the GOP traitors with a veto on the omnibus. If nothing else, it would have forced every GOP yes vote - months in advance of midterm campaigning - to justify opposing his MAGA agenda. It was the leverage he could have used again and again. It was the bullhorn blaring “betrayal, betrayal.”
Even the veto override would have been, in the long run, a victory for the President. Candidates willing to primary GOP incumbents would be far more likely to emerge if they knew POTUS was still standing and fighting.
Now, the leverage is all gone. His base is deflated. The Mueller probe doesn’t matter now. Either way, this President is a lame duck, even before his party loses power.
Top tier challengers need to step up. Won’t happen. Primary voters are the base and since they won’t change guess who the problem is?
+1
That’s extremely true.
"2018 is our chance to elect TRUMP ALLIES to the House and Senate who will give you the agenda you voted for. No more obstruction! We want what we voted for! the email, which is signed by Trump, states."
Patriots are reminded that, in order to make Pres. Trump's MAGA agenda that we voted for last as long as possible, we need to work with our state lawmakers to support Trump in leading the states to repeal the 16th and ill-conceived 17th Amendments (16&17A).
If we do not exercise our voting power to give Pres. Trump a Trump-supporting, state sovereignty-respecting Congress in the 2018 elections, a Congress that will work with Trump to not only repeal 16&17A, but also surrender state powers that the feds have been stealing from the states back to the states and put a stop to unconstitutional federal taxes, such taxes arguably stolen state revenues, then consider the following.
Not only will it take probably take longer than we want for Trump to fully implement his MAGA agenda with an obstructionist Congress, but it's only a matter of time before we are once again oppressed by a president probably even worse than lawless Obama imo.
Well after November Trumpnis going to have 40-50 new Democrat enemies in the House and 2 or 3 new Democrat enemies in the Senate. He better prepare himself.
Congress largely populated with eunuchs. The GOP is coward country club.
I agree with you. There are not enough populist millionaires who can run and win like Trump did. If he wants allies, he needed to lead the way with a veto of that terrible routing we got.
Essentially, Trump fired his potential allies with his signature. Motivation prompted by an understanding of his supporters not his strong point. Leaders must lead with courage. He choked.
There is a weird combination of people in the congress...weak nellies, traitors, seditionists, losers, go-alongs, LIBs, back-bench-check-takers, crooks and geldings (to name a few). As a group, they are very disgusting, pathetic and in-need-of-prison-time .
