We agree about God and His Word and the changing world!

My point was that a serious wall will last longer than a POTUS.

I would explain it to you, but I would have to shout so loud to get through your fingers in your ears while you sing, “I can’t hear you...LA...LA...LA!”, that it would annoy everyone else.

Just continue on in your willful ignorance!

That is very true.

My contention all along has been the wall won't matter in the end if they refuse to enforce the current laws. When the reward outweighs, the risk they will keep coming. That is the very definition of Capitalism, risk/reward, no wonder they keep coming. 😀

“1.3 billion could go a long way!”

$10 million per mile is a good planning figure for Trump style thirty foot bollards with paved patrol road. Up to $25 million per mile for additionally improved barrier in urban areas, maybe $6-8 million per mile out in the flats.

A good bit of what we are starting out with in the Rio Grande Valley will have to serve double duty as flood control levees (heavy concrete bases), so I am not sure of what kind of costs we are looking at there - we should know in a few months, after the bids are in, and contracts are awarded.

The Secure Fence Act of 2006 averaged about $4 million per mile.

“The Military” doesn’t build things. The Corps of Engineers undertakes and oversees construction projects using CIVILIAN CONTRACTORS. The Sea Bees do limited small scale construction projects. The military isn’t staffed or funded to build the wall. Finally, there isn’t enough money designated for wall construction to build it, including zero dollars in the defense appropriation.

Thank You, disagreement is all well and fine.
It’s just my view that a wall will do nothing more than slow down crossers...until they figure a work around.

Precisely, the border security forces will have a great preventive tool in the wall so that their efforts will be more effective.

Only die hard Global Communists would be in opposition to the construction wall.

There was a bumper sticker saying “Cape Cod Tunnel”———drove the tourists nuts wondering where it was.

(It may still be around-—I haven’t been to the cape in 15 years.)

It is a national security issue. It is federal land (even if it has to be condemned...). Nothing wrong with the military building it. Romans legionaries built roads and fortifications. US Armed Forces can build walls.

...I think that President Trump can comfortable tell the Federal Courts to “pack sand” as this is clearly a constitutional executive authority..

So was his ending the illegal DACA EO.
And the Courts stopped that. Temporarily at least

Yes. People had complained about it being a subversive site.
There are others by Corsi on the same subject. I find them through his twitter account. Just got home from town. I think this is one

During Teddy Roosevelts term (1917 IIRC). Congress passed the Roosevelt Reservation giving area along the entire southern border as a right of way to federal government No condemnation necessary.

I expect him to keep his promises and to fight to do so, not follow the lead of our GOPe folks.
............................................................
Just where in the devil have you been since Trump was inaugurated? What do you think he has been doing all this time, playing tiddly winks? He has accomplished more in a year than anyone, INCLUDING REAGAN, and you sit there moaning and groaning just like a half-wit, ignoring the PROOF all around you of his GREAT TURNAROUND of our Economy, our Taxation, Our over-regulation, etc. etc. etc.
He HAS kept his promises and will continue to do so. GET LOST! You and others like you throwing temper tantrums who are looking for INSTANT gratification on your little wish lists can grow up before you try to give lessons to adults.
