A congressman says the suspected Austin bomber left a confession calling himself a "psychopath" and saying he felt no remorse for his actions... Investigators have declined to release the recording, saying they are still looking into Conditt's motive and whether anyone else was involved.

Where's the march for banning bombs? Where's the two minutes of silence for these victims? I wonder if Conditt made any reference to bombs vs. guns in the FL school shooting. Both young men had mental problems but the gun grabbers can't see that.

We need common sense bomb safety measures.

Obviously, not his fault. We should go after the companies that manufactured the items he used to make his bombs and then the bombers family should sue the victims for getting in the way of the shrapnel.

Yet another mass murderer-bomber who could not find a girlfriend, like the Unabomber. His parents raised him in a religious home and his dad even helped his son buy and renovate a house to emancipate him and give him independence. But he apparently couldn't connect with women. The Las Vegas mass murderer couldn't connect with women either, except hired paramours or prostitutes, and that was only because he had money. It isn't the anger of "white males" that apparently motivates them but the mixed motivations and frustrations of those who cant find a way to relate with women. What makes such men "loners"? No women. In modern society there are no arranged marriages or bride prices to be paid. One has to go into the marriage market and if they can't compete in that market they turn violent??? In the case of the Austin bomber, this was despite his apparent access to women in Christian churches. No mention thus far if he was actively religious. My guess he wasn't. I would explore the issue of his inability to make a relationship with a woman as critical in such cases. I might be wrong but worth studying.

"It isn't the anger of "white males" that apparently motivates them but the mixed motivations and frustrations of those who cant find a way to relate with women." This is the exactly the pathology of muslim culture. Exactly. With the same consequences.

Read an article the other day that said his laptop couldn't be searched because it had been destroyed in the explosion.
Then CNN, in one article reported:
"The video made by Mark Anthony Conditt, whose string of package bombs killed two people and wounded five in Texas, was found on his cell phone when police recovered his body Wednesday morning. The cell phone was in Conditt's possession at the time of his death, police said."
So how come the laptop was destroyed by the explosion, but the cell phone that was in Conditt's possession when he died wasn't destroyed? Something smells to high heavens here.

Bombs do not evaporate everything within their range (unless nuclear). phone in a pocked away from the blast could very easily escape unharmed while a laptop sitting underneath the device was completely unrecoverable. Far more plausible explanations for this than something smelling to high heavens.

It’s easy to speculate where those items were at the time of the explosion, but it doesn’t make it so. Those things should have been photographed in situ, prior to being removed. But since they have no plan to release the phone video in its entirety, we’ll probably never know the truth about where the laptop or cell phone were in the car, or if the laptop was ever actually destroyed.

There is no indication that they weren't photographed. Most of the time, the most logical explanation is the correct one.

I worked in law enforcement. I’m skeptical of everything. I was taught that the only stupid question is the one you don’t ask.
