The multiple schemes described here, are the reasons why the founders sought to limit terms in office---especially for president. The elected one has too many opportunities to use the govt as a money machine for themselves. Clearly, starting back in their Arkansas days, the con artist Clintons had their get-rich-quick plans in place and ready to go.

I believe in term limits for Presidents - just not for Congressmen. For Congress term limits gives too much power to the Deep State - the bureaucracy. That said the filthy Clinton crooks might have gotten away with a fortune if they hadn't gotten so greedy toward the end.
