US State Department refuted claims of a deal with Turkish government over Northern Syrian town on Manbij.
In todays daily press briefing U.S. State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert was asked about Turkish Presidential spokesperson Ibrahim Kalins claims about a deal between the US and Turkey over Manbij
Well thats funny because no agreement has been reached she said.
Nauert said her department did not have anything to announce in response to a Turkish statement.
Yesterday Turkish Presidential Spokesperson Kalın said that the U.S. and Turkey have reached an agreement over Manbij and he said the implementation of Manbij deal would be delayed for a couple of weeks until the new secretary takes over.
US and Turkey were holding talks over Northern Syria before US President Donald Trump sacked Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. The talks froze since then and there is no timetable when it will resume.
It will be interesting to see how clearly Secretary of State Mike Pompeo talks to them.

#Turkey Foreign Minister Mevut Cavusoglu claimed today he never said the word of "agreement" but used the term of an "understanding" to describe talks on #Manbij between Turkey and the US.
